Immersible Pumps
- About
- Features & Benefits
The immersible motor is a unique concept that allows it to operate in flooded conditions up to 30 feet deep for up to two weeks. It offers the safety of a submersible motor and the convenience of off-the-shelf maintenance. The motor is a premium-efficiency, inverter-duty TECB (totally enclosed, blower-cooled) motor. The blower shuts down if the motor becomes submerged without affecting the main motor. The media that the motor is submerged in cools it, just like a true submersible. A specially designed conduit box prevents water leakage into the motor, and the patented hydro-seal design prevents water infiltration along the shaft and into the motor.
